Cardiff: It's Time to Discuss Economic Regeneration
Today we start our discussion of economic regeneration in the city of Cardiff, which is the capitol of Wales. This is our last new destination and I know I am not the only one looking forward to being done moving around every few days.
Today started in a listed building on the Cardiff University campus in the former Council Chamber. Students and faculty got an introduction to Wales and the extensive regeneration work that has been done both in the capital as well as throughout the region.
After a morning of lectures the group took the local transportation down to the water to see the product of the regeneration efforts.
Tomorrow we head to the steel works. Who knows what we are getting ourselves into, but David has told us it will be spectacular. I guess we will find out whether we want to or not.
